❤️WALK AWAY IN SILENCE 

Few relationships can’t be broken 

They are born or created such 

That even if you want...you can’t 

So you choose to walk away...

In silence...a whirlwind inside 

Holding emotions and words 

Of pain, questions and explanations 

Since you know that for sure 

That you have no fair listeners 

Nor those who shall understand 

The simple straight equations 

Of accusations and fairness 

The wrong doings most times 

Stare in the face of everyone 

Yet all choose to sneer and jeer

Or look the other way as if 

They cannot see not hear 

In a gang out of fear or obligations 

Hence to save ourselves...

A lot of heartache and hurt 

We choose to clamp ourselves up

And silence the chaotic voices inside 

Walking away with our self respect 

Into our world of peace and isolation. 

WE REALIZE

World is an ironical place to be in 

We have dreams in our eyes 

That we want to fulfill somehow

Reality often shatters those 

And we are forced to compromise. 

People give us positivity and hope 

When we lose our direction and hurt 

Yet when we find our way to success 

The very people try to pull us down 

And no more we want to oblige.  

Relationships can so confuse us 

On our faces it’s all sugar coated 

And then we face the reality bites 

Of conceit, deceit, so many lies...

And we just don’t want to reconcile. 

We are happy or sad with little in life 

Yet it creates furore unnecessary 

We are then judged for our smiles 

To protect ourselves from hurting...

We are forced to wear a disguise. 

At one moment there is a big high 

Of achievements and accomplishments 

Then it’s a sudden low that hits us 

Bruising us, scarring us, failing us  

Life is just a game...we then realize. 

Never succumb to the extremes 

That life puts us through invariably 

But give it the best and honest shot

Without giving up however it tough it is 

These life lessons are making us wise.

Women’s day promise

❤️WOMEN’S DAY PROMISE 

On this day dedicated to women 

I reflect on the purpose it serves 

Often it is to remind the world 

More respect a woman deserves. 

A nurturer, care giver and a lover 

She puts others before her own self 

Her selfless love is unmatchable 

In giving she often forgets herself. 

Without her the world shall lack 

Esthetics and the touch of sensitivity 

She is there giving a special touch 

Every day and moment has festivity. 

Enough is said to men around us 

Asking them to give us our rights 

It’s time to turn those fingers around 

And see what this highlights. 

Are we standing by our tribe 

And supporting each other right 

Or are we pulling down each other 

Putting up an egoistic fight. 

On this women’s day my lovelies

Promise each other to just stand by 

Support, empower and strengthen

Let’s hold and build each other up high. 

We know the challenges we each face 

So let’s just support others in empathy 

Kindness...nurturing is in our nature 

Let’s make this sisterhood heavenly. 

❤️EMPTY SPACE OF SOLITUDE

What is that empty space that stares at us 

Or do we stare into that dark blank space 

Mind has no real thoughts nor feelings 

Yet there is a sullen and silent mental race 

Dark clouds shroud that overwhelm at times 

At others a flood overtakes every emotion 

Solitude is what you seek within you yet...

A lonesome soul wanders creating commotion 

There is a sense of peace in that silence 

Yet that silence is deafening and so loud 

No company is exciting as much as yourself

Yet you seek the purest bonds of love around 

The contrast of feelings is so puzzling 

No vent is enough nor distraction pulls you away 

Try hard as you might to run from it all 

It pulls you back and thoughts run astray. 

Sweet pain of solitude is time to reflect on 

About love, relationships, purpose and life 

There is no running away from this solitude 

It’s there waiting within us forever for life!
